Where your regulator wants it
One container image and PostgreSQL 16. The same build runs as SaaS, in a bank’s own cloud account or on its own servers.
SaaS on AWS
Operated by SMH in an AWS region inside the bank’s country where one exists (for example UAE and Bahrain). Fargate containers, managed PostgreSQL across two zones, web application firewall, encrypted backups kept 10 years.
Your cloud account
The same CloudFormation stack deployed in the bank’s own AWS account, under its own keys and policies. SMH supports upgrades.
Private cloud or on-premises
Docker Compose or the bank’s container platform with its own PostgreSQL. For markets and banks that require in-country or in-house hosting.
